So is the old gang still here?  (Not asking about the permanent fixture, bannork, 5555555.)  I've been run outta town elsewheres so it's back to the ranch fer me.

Jim was wasted as usual but the rest of the band were tight.Whatever, a great song and jam. Should have been on the Isle myself but difficult to skip boarding school for a few days. Caning, gating and phone calls to distressed parents  the inevitable punishment.

Riff raff, scum, undesirables, deplorables.

Avoid them or play this song to their face at 110 decibels.

LOL.  Here's the refrain . . .

BJ Thomas with the title track off of his '69 album, Raindrops Snowflakes Keep Falling On My Head.

"Raindrops Snowflakes Keep Fallin' On My Head"

Raindrops Snowflakes are falling on my head
And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
Nothing seems to fit
Those raindrops snowflakes are falling on my head, they keep falling

So I just did me some talking to the sun
And I said I didn't like the way he got things done
He's sleeping on the job
Those raindrops snowflakes are falling on my head, they keep fallin'

But there's one thing I know
The blues they send to meet me
Won't defeat me
It won't be long 'till happiness steps up to greet me

Raindrops Snowflakes keep falling on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red
Crying's not for me
'Cause, I'm never gonna stop the rain by complaining

Because I'm free
Nothing's worrying me

It won't be long 'till happiness steps up to greet me

Raindrops Snowflakes keep falling on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red
Crying's not for me, 'cause,
I'm never gonna stop the rain by complaining

Because I'm free
Nothing's worrying me

One of the all time greatest live performances!

I dunno.  The Tanglewood show version rates right up there.  Kind of a toss up but Tanglewood's got almost 4 minutes on the Woodstock performance. The way I see it that gives it an edge.  Recorded live on Aug. 18, '70 at Tanglewood in Lenox, MA.

BTW, troglodytes are my favourite people, LOL.

As a Drummer, I prefer Shrieve's performance at Woodstock ...
