Brits are no strangers to thanks giving, too.  Led Zeppelin expressing Thank You in their own way.  Off of their 2nd '69 album, Led Zeppelin II.

Percy showing his appreciation for his wife, Maureen. Sadly later they divorced.

Jimi was born on this day. To me, the excitement of his music never dies, still zaps me every time.

Kevin Coyne, one of a kind.

I remember this from my teens. My mate was a big Kevin Coyne Fan. A little bit different to the "norm".

A great cover of Lefty Frizzell's '59 classic, The Long Black Veil, performed live by the Georgia Satellites off of their '87 Sweet Nights (Live NYC '87) album.

Here's another Dutch band fronted by guitarist Jan Akkerman, Brainbox, which I'm sure you grew up with, jvs.  Dark Rose off of their '69 self-titled debut.  Some great guitar work as is to be expected from Akkerman.
