I want to install IPTV but the cracked versions available on PB say they don't include any channels. How do I add the TV channels?

You probably need to download to your device an m3u file list (list with the channels) from the web and then install the file/files through the app.

Search m3u iptv lists, for example there is this reference on github (github.com/Free-IPTV/Countries/blob/master/US01_USA.m3u)

 I located the .apk file. Loaded it onto my android TV box

All is fine.Plenty of channels

Is a android TV different from  a Android TV box?

p.s I do not understand 'cracked' and 'PB'

Cracked is where the code for free installation is included, and PB is Pirate Bay.

Probably

PB=Piratebay

Cracked= the original app has been modified to circumvent payment for using the apk and ads have been removed.

AndroidTV is the official google AndroidTV OS.

The android OS on many Chinese TV boxes is just a modified version of the android versions for a tablet or phone.

That m3u file link you attached looks quite old, 2019? I don't know if any of the channel links contained therein would work anymore.

First of all, which iptv app do you have installed on your smart Android TV.

To view the links in that m3u file and to install it you need to have installed an iptv apk,  for example 'iptv pro' or something similar.

Have a look at fluxus.tv website, I see there is resources and instructions and m3u files for various tv OS platforms.
