Agreed. We enjoy being together so she uses the app. If she is notified it means we are both notified. Track her and you are tracking me, with rare exceptions.

I just left a store that I had checked into. Now it won't let me check out. Hope the staff don't spend too much time looking for me at closing time!

Read all the replies here & have this experience with it: I downloaded the app last night ( Thaichana) at first it wouldn't open, half a dozen times it said ' no Internet, try again, switched off my VPN & it opened fine, so you may have to disable your VPN to use it, I managed to find a QR code on a business card, it read it and said QR code invalid, so seems to working okay. ????

You must turn off WiFi and make sure that Data is turned on in settings. Open the Thaichana AP, press Scan QR and point the back of the phone at the QR code.   It will automatically record it.  There’s no need to click again.  When you leave, click Close on the screen that shows Checked In.  Then click the brown button that says Check Out on the next screen.  Done.

Must I have Bluetooth and Location turned ON for it to work please?

So you are bo**oxed if you do not have a Data Package.

Yes, you must have a data subscription on your phone and turn on location.  Not sure about Bluetooth.

For ThaiChana you just need a data connection and location, MorChana wants BlueTooth.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

Do we have to have one of the apps downloaded or can we just use a QR code scanner as always ?? I am quite happy with this method.

( I heard we had to have it  downloaded then heard we don’t ?? ).

If we do, which one of the two is better/safer/easier etc etc .

Thai Chana or Mor Chana ??

Thai Chana App.  After you input your phone number and select " Register" the OTP one time password comes into your ordinary phone "Messages" section but then when you return to the App you have to register yet again there is no where to enter the OTP.  Am i doing it wrong ?

Millions have succeeded in registering so it must work OK. Have you managed yet? If not, let me know and I'll give a step by step guide. It's very simple.

Thanks Moonlover.  I have been using my LINE APP Thai Chana Barcode for ages.  Maybe this is why I cannot open the dedicated App. Perhaps cannot have 2? Just saying.
