January 18, 20215 yr I can add balance no problem as I did via SCB banking but it doesnt extend the validity date of balance, only the balance itself It really should have gone off line in early December albeit its still on now with a warning must be done by January 31st to avoid complete termination I dont really have a "local" who could do it for me via a 7/1 unfortunately. Is there another way ??
January 18, 20215 yr Its my understanding the date is extended each time you add money. Why not just call the call centre and ask them ? Don’t miss the latest headlines from Thailand and around the world. Get the Asean Now Briefing newsletter, delivered daily. Sign up here.

Never has or at least never has with my True sim but knowing how many variants they have probably some actually do

I remember your stories of Truemove Tourist SIMs and your son with Truemove H SIM too. etc So I know that you have been given those USSD codes. At least you'll keep them handy this time. ???? But why not move it forward 360 days? Apply the code again.

Does work with the Boontherm machines. (10 baht + 2 baht). It's 3 baht for larger top ups. But that's not an easy option for those abroad without local contacts.

Yes, from what I have Googled, it seems if I add 10THB to my AIS account (I plan to do via Kbank mobile) then I get 30 days extended validity? Is this correct please? So DTAC & True allow 180 days validity extensions for 15THB but for AIS it's 10THB / 30 days? I believe one can repeat the 10THB six times to achieve 180 days also? Hope I understand it correctly?

Hope I understand it correctly? Yes. But you can continue feeding the orange Boontherm device 10 baht + 2 baht until it reaches 365 days of SIM validity. Though hold on, no need to have any change. You can put 100 baht into the machine even when choosing just a 10 baht top up. So enter your number and choose the 10 baht top up. It will request 12 baht. Put 100 baht within. Then when you have finished it will credit 10 baht to your phone account and keep 88 baht credit against your number in the machine. Now repeat; but this time it will not ask you for money, but simply deduct from that 88 baht as it will recognise your number and apply the credit. Now you have 76 baht credit. Repeat.... This will continue to work even if you move to another machine between transactions.
