Sorry, but I don't have a link to the piece on the Songkhla ferry, but trust me, it's not gonna happen. The farang owner Cpt. Steve is loaded and can comfortably retire in Pattaya. No big deal for him, other than some money lost on the failed ferry.

Is this Cpt. Steve aka forum member Hammerman, as you seem to know him from other threads?  He's been on here a few hours ago and not updated his post from last weekend, which indicated a September opening as the latest information.  Maybe you could suggest to him to give an update?

That's him and I'm sure he still has a glimmer of hope. Just wait until he informs us of the latest news, I guess.
