Tessica has arrived in LA and had her first treatment (Picture: Backgrid; @im_d_ollady)

We are totally invested in Tessica Brown – the unsuspecting woman who applied super strong Gorilla Glue to her hair.

The 40-year-old from Louisiana has struggled for the past month to get the adhesive out of her hair but to no avail.

The mum went to the hospital, she went to the salon, but each time, attempts to clear her head left Tessica in pain with severe headaches, and still with the glue stuck to her scalp.

After having her ponytail cut off this week, Tessica flew to LA to meet a cosmetic doctor who offered his services to get rid of her matted hairdo.

Jeez Louise.

Most of us are smart enough to ask "for a friend" when we do something stupid and need advice.  But then, we don't get a $19,000 outpouring of sympathy.

Sad thing is, the MSM will soon start inviting her on to comment as a consumer safety advocate.  Sadder still is that people will watch.

She should have used shellac.  Dries quickly, can be touched up, or removed using alcohol.  Look at the finish you can achieve with shellac using the French Polish technique.  Her wooden head would have looked a lot better.

A kit like this could have solved the problem in about 10 minutes.

How NOT to do things I would imagine.

Different approach to teaching but whatever works I guess......... sad part is she is not intelligent enough to see this could be a possible outcome.

Makes one wonder how she managed to get to 40.

Poor company will have to add a warning: don't use Gorilla glue for hairstyle

In a strong position to win the "How stupid can you be?" competition

Why even post this story , could you be more ignorant to put glue in your hair , she needs to be ignored

Update, she's now threatening to sue the glue company!

And she'll probably win. Thank God for Darwin (or is that an oxymoron?)

The intelligent one ????

Okay.  I freely admit I was too harsh in judging this woman.  Have a look at a genuine hair care product... (Available on Amazon if you don't believe it's really a thing)

Not hard to see how she may have made a mistake in haste.

After she's going to sue the company for millions because the manual didn't say you could not use it as a hair conditioner.
