I grew up just east of SF and I only found one liberal kind of talk radio station and it was so bad for reception. These conservative talk shows don't condone or incite violence, but it's an old stand by line for the liberals.

The guy usually celebrated the deaths of people whose opinions he didn't like, such as smart people, patriots, decent human beings, etc. He used to say 'assumed room temperature'.

 

He was a racist, misogynist, carnival barker who fomented racism and ignorance and appealed to the lowest rung of society.

 

Celebration is a harsh word. Let's say my feelings mirror what I felt when Osama bin Laden or Abu Musab al Zarqawi 'assumed room temperature'. On balance, I would say that guy did more overall harm that bin Laden or al-Zarqawi.

 

The world is instantly better with his nonsense off the air forever.

 

I'm not a believer, but sometimes I think there should be a Hell, because guys like him deserve to spend eternity there.

Why? Because it is giving vent to the justified frustration/anger within the working middle class. Sad that far too many look to Republicans to address the issue ... yes, and far too Democrats as both parties are bought and paid for by the money interests in the American political system ...
