A Thai police corporal has admitted murdering his 40 year old wife who was the owner of a karaoke establishment.

After abducting her from her flat he murdered her, kept her remains hidden in a police dog training school, then went to a field where he burned her with car tires.

Finally at a bridge in Ayutthaya he threw what was left of her into the Chao Phraya river.

Police corporal Piya Nakhowong was taken on a reenactment though the press were kept away and could not take pictures, reported Sanook

Locals in Lamsai sub-district of Ayutthaya told the media that on Friday at 9pm they had seen a police vehicle and a fire and thought nothing of it.

Next afternoon they found out someone had been burned there.

It emerged that earlier the wife of the suspect went with a friend to the suspect's commanding officer to complain about him.

The couple had split up and had been arguing about financial matters and debts.

Then relatives reported Thanpisa, 40, as missing and that her husband had been seen at her flat.

He has admitted murdering her on Wednesday. He went to her flat then abducted her and executed her at a police residence in Ayutthaya.

After keeping her body at the dog training facility he burned the body along with car tires then threw the bones and other remains in the river at the Ayodhya Bridge in Koh Rian sub-district.

Sanook said that the policeman was a gun specialist. The couple had argued over debts and the wife left him. She was the owner of a karaoke bar.

A police team led by Pol Maj-Gen Netiphoom Khotsri was at the scenes of crime though no comments were reported by the media.

Should have burnt him while they were at it.

It sounds as though he didn't like his wife very much.  Seriously, except for the admonition to always be cool (Jai Yen,) there is not much teaching in Thai culture about how to manage anger.  In Thialand, if someone is humiliated, he truly does lose face and can be shunned.  I say "he" because I think that the hormone testerosterone plays a large role in the type of reaction.  Females can be equally vengeful, of course, but tend to exact revenge in a different way which can be even more devastating than murder, destroying the reputation and lives of their target causing long-term suffering.  The effect can be insidious since it may not be apparent to the target what has affected his social connections.

People love to gossip and criticise others.  This can even happen at royal levels.

Please tell us all exactly what a typical Thai husband means.

I must tell that to my 2 BIL and also to the other Thai husbands that I have known for a few years.

I wonder if they would laugh it off?

The more posts the less humor?

So that's alot of years in prison for:

-Abducting a person

-First degree murder

-Using a police residence for faul practice

-Using a police car when off duty

-Fooling police dogs

-Burning rubbish, specially rubber

-Polluting open water

-Burning with tires instead of fire

-Creating an overdose of CO2 (not sure if there are already CO2 laws in Thailand) lol

-Spoiling a third party's soil

-Dishonoring the RTP

-Dishonoring Thai people/Thailand

Did you find more options?

Well, at least he didn't throw her in a wheelie bin, and store her under the house for several months.

Not at all. A simple clarification would be nice.

It is the same as me saying a typical Brit Man. Wife beater T shirt, tattoos drinking beer out of the bottle.

Would that be correct and apply to you or most of the other Brits that post here?

Should be enough to get him charged and let out on bail then.

That went well then. I wonder who created the debt him or her.?
