The EU medicine regulator still says that it regards the AZ vaccine as safe, and the British have used it more than anybody and have actually found fewer incidents of blood clotting than they would normally expect. And as for deciding to rely instead on the Russian vaccine, well since Europe already relies on Russia for most of its gas supplies, why not simply save time and hand over the keys to Europe to your new best mate, Vlad.

Exactly. AstraZeneca didn't let them jump the queue after they screwed up their procurement process so now they are trying to destroy it's reputation.

Sad, but not surprising.

I'm glad Anutin / Prayuth have risen above the hysterics we're seeing in the EU, they are to be congratulated for that - a rare occurrence.

The EU is going to pay a huge price for their hesitancy in the coming 12 months.

Not only a drama for Astrazeneca but also for the many thousands who will miss vaccination and will get ill  more than 0.0002%

Not their fault that the Englishmen cannot put two and two together. In Norway another case has been detected yesterday, and even one death after the AZ was taken.

Norwegian doctors say that everything is pointing that way, but it is hard to prove. If someone choose to look the other way, that is on them.

UK has 3 options.....and a 4th in September when the single shot has been approved.
