For sure I'm a classic and Love classic motorbikes like my 1993 CBR900RR which I found in Thailand.

The one I had in England would of cost 3 times what it was worth to bring Thailand,  Thailand have no interest in classic unless it's here already and it suits them.

After much research it only left me with the option of selling and I got a classic price in UK.

The price in Thailand of cars/bikes that are old is a whole new concept comparisen compared to say UK.

Yep I'm thinking that's what will happen. Thanks

Parts still allowed. No complete cars or bikes

Look in BKK at the number of clips for sale - thousands. And more every week

Rock Auto are pretty good.

Not too good for RHD parts though.

The law on imports changed about 2 years ago. The new law is NO used vehicles are allowed to be imported.

74 ke20 corolla. Only value is really sentimental I thought import fees based on value of vehicle might have made it worth importing.

The value , would be its value in Thailand, not Australia. My old mini was worth very little in Australia, but they sell for 800K-1M baht in Thailand. That corolla is quite rate in Thailand. I've seen similar cars in the past for sale for 300K baht - but restored.

That's what I thought, too.
