Apologies if this has already been asked to death but I cant seem to find an exact answer.

Current extension of stay (based on marriage) permitted until June 14th 2021.

Can I apply 45 days early?  30 days early ?  Does this depend on office / district?  Thanks all in advance.

That's correct .....45 day at some office i.e CW. 30 day at some others. State your office.

Someone that deals with udon will be along. Perhaps a poster from Udon Thani can also give note of what's required at that office.

Are you living in Udon Thani? If not you would have to use the office for the province you are living in.

I think Udon will do them up to 30 days early.

Correct UbonJoe, just not in the city.  Thanks for that.

It is not necessarily the closest Immigration office where you apply, but the one in which your registered address is located.

You could for example live in Kalasin or Sakhon Nakhon and be closer to the Udon Thai IO.

Just a question on the same topic.

I'm on retirement extension in Changwat Kalasin. Due to Covid I thought I would try and make only one bank and immigration visit.

I have a new passport and need to get my stamps transferred. My 90 day report is due on the 5th May and retirement extension due on the 20th May.

Can I rock along to Kalasin Immigration on the 4th  say and do everything then or should I get the new passport sorted, then the online 90 day and a final visit for visa extension

You can do everything together on the same visit.

Change stamps to new Passport first, then the extension and 90 day report.

Kalasin may well issue a new 90 day report from the date of your extension, same as Roi Et do.

The 4th is a holiday in Thailand, check if your office is open, also the 3rd is a bank holiday too.

Good information.  May 4 is Coronation Day in Thailand.  However, there is a seven calendar day grace period after your due date for doing your 90-Day report in person, so if you go to the immigration office during that period you would be able to take care of all three of the OP's items (transfer stamps, extension of stay, 90-Day Report).

Was getting ready to go early to do my renewal.  Does anyone know if you need to bring a witness on every year renewal?  One of my witness is out of town for a few weeks so I may need to delay it in that case.

Thanks in advance.

Not sure what Udon requires. Many offices only want one for the first extension and at many that is only for a home visit.

Thanks @ubonjoe .  For the first Udon wanted one at the application and another witness when followed up at the home as well.

I'll see about calling them on Monday about this, just thought to ask as I was reading the same that many only require it on the first.

Cheers,

Stan
