Popular Post webfact Posted May 5, 2021 Popular Post Posted May 5, 2021 Picture: Naew Na Thailand's chief of immigration Pol Lt-Gen Sompong Chingduang and region one officers gave details of a case against several illegal immigrants in the Nana area of Bangkok. An informant told immigration they were suspicious of a man staying in the area in a condo. Police surrounded the area and approached a Middle Eastern man who said that he had lost his passport. He turned out to be a Syrian called Muhammad, aged 28, and there was no record of him having come into Thailand. Picture: Naew Na Two years ago the same man had been mixed up in procuring woman and he was arrested for illegal entry on April 25th 2019. But while he was in custody his wife from Uzbekistan made representations to the Uzbek embassy to ask that he be sent back there rather than wartorn Syria. He was deported to Uzbekistan then split up with his wife and made his way to Cambodia. There he ditched his passport and crossed a natural border back into Thailand paying an agent the equivalent of 100,000 baht to help him. He was charged with illegal entry and immigration police set up watches in the Nana area to catch his associates. Picture: Naew Na This led to the arrest at another condo in the area of a couple who were riding on a motorcycle. Saeed, 32, from Syria and his girlfriend Houda, 23, from Morocco denied they had anything to do with Muhammad. But both were booked for overstaying their visas - Saeed was on overstay of 2,612 days and Houda 750 days. In addition Saeed was out on bail after facing a charge for robbery made at the Southern Bangkok court, reported Naew Na. -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2021-05-05 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow Thaivisa on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates 2 2

Popular Post ThailandRyan Posted May 5, 2021 Popular Post Posted May 5, 2021 Wonderful folks they seem to be. They were only trying to do jobs Thai's do, ie...LOS (Land of Scams) and trying to hide in plain sight. But Mr. Saed was a very bad boy by being on an overstay of over 7 years, now that is impressive to have made that long of a run again in plain view in the Nana Area. He must be a Tailor 8

He must be a Tailor It is surprising that he's been on overstay for 7 years because I recall various announcements over the last 4 to 5 years which proclaimed there are now zero foreigners on overstay. How is this possible.? Did they lie to us? Surely they knew the guy was on overstay because of the computers and I know they had computers 10 years ago, never mind only 7 years ago. 1 2

There was actually just one declaration, made by Surachate 'Big Joke' Hakparn, that was universally mocked and debunked by most observers.

IamNoone88 Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 Catching scum like those in that area must be as easy as shooting fish in a barrel. Good work.

Nanaplaza666 Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 I don't read nothing about they arresting the agent that brought him in through natural border . Maybe it's an idea for them to look into that as well being that a lot of covid has come into the country that way as well . Or is that the person that gave the tip ?? First getting 100.000baht to bring him here and then sharing it with the group that arrested him . I see a business idea here , oh sorry they have been doing this for ages already ???? it's bigger news if they caught the agents and their co-perpetrators but i geuss that's killing the goose that lays the golden eggs .
Stargeezr Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 The Grace Hotel in the Nana area was full of a mix of these and other Middle Easterners. at least it was several year ago. As well as some other nearby Hotels. So it is likely they had others of similar appearances in the same area. Good catch When will the deportation take place? Geezer
