Yes, if you're  already mentally unstable, in which case you should stay at home where you have access to mental health support.  
I know plenty of people that have been here for years and are very happy and never attempted to murder anyone.

yes it is unbelievable that people backgrounds are not checked more thoroughly, anyone with criminal backgrounds should be barred from entry forever..

This guy sounds like he thought he could get away with the crime if he just got rid of the body and the most obvious incriminating evidence. Probably condescendingly thought that Thai police were so incompetent that all he would have to do is keep shrugging his shoulders when they asked him where his wife was, and they would soon enough lose interest in the case.

 

Note use of scent dogs which led to discovery of incriminating evidence 15 km away, discovery of trace blood evidence on air purifier, discovery of video evidence from parked car, and use of CCTV cameras to track his movements.

 

Almost every major police station in Thailand has a back room detective unit. These guys are typically far far sharper than the officers the public encounters on front desk duty. Sounds like this guy is finding this out the hard way.

It was not mentioned in this thread. I was informed by a Thai friend who said he was captured in Hang Dong area of CM.
