Sony Hi-Fi LBT-V4800

Featured Replies

I have a Sony HI-Fi LBT-4800. The drive belts for the CDs have given up the ghost Are these available at local electronic shops or is it a send off to Sony for spares situation. I'm no electronics expert but I have the manual and I think I can do it myself.

Seeing that they have sold used for about ฿1800 on Kaidee and the same price on Carousell in Singapore....and even US$12 for the head unit in India, it it really worth trying to fix?

Thanks. It's more like something to tinker with. I was born in an era when we didn't throw things away when they broke down, we repaired them. Now sadly, we have developed into a throwaway society. Thanks for taking the trouble to reply.

If it’s just about the tinkering, you might find something here...
