What a p1$$ poor article. Completely lacking in details. Love to know how those delighted "young" farangs were eligible so early on in the vac program. Maybe it was a shot of M-150 they each got in the arm - since that was the only detail the article was clear on.

Thai society depends on doing business by making people queue for long periods to deal with every transaction in person instead of dealing with anything by post or online, or by appointment. Even online activities like banking usually involve a supplementary activity of going to a branch with mountains of documents and photocopies (all individually signed) to confirm the online activity. 
 

I think the Government and businesses must have shares in paper and printer companies and warehouses to keep all the copies, whereas all this has been swept away in the West. Also of course provides thousands of jobs for people checking and filing this paper. The paper doesn’t ever get looked at, as next time it all starts from scratch and you provide the same information all over again!

My wife went to the bank today on immigration business  for me and they sold her Wuflu Insurance! She asked if I could have it too but they said no not for foreigners! It was my account she was there for??? I did tell her that Wuflu treatment was free for Thais and the insurance company knows this and she said ,'do you believe that?'

In most countries, people are forced to wait 15 minutes after vaccination to check that they do not get a severe allergic shock. The pictures were probably taken there. Where you get the idea that they sit for hours waiting is hard to understand.

Where does it state sitting for hours? Its the same setup for getting vaccinated in the UK,and your in and out in ~20 mins,which includes 15 minutes post injection waiting time to check for any immediate side effects,before being allowed to leave.
