Hi all! Previously I've been asking about changing my visa from Edu visa and applying for Covid Extension instead. I managed to do the edu visa cancellation and the covid extension in my nearby immigration the same day! The problem is, I applied for 60day covid extension on the 18 of May and I received the stamp only until the 15 of June! Any ideas why they couldn't give me 60 days?? And when could I extend more??

The lady was very rude and didn't wanted to explain me this

I will appreciate any clarification

It's probably an under consideration stamp telling you to come back on 15th June, when you go back there they will give you the remaining days.

It is standard procedure to do under consideration stamp with a report back date on it for 60 day covid 19 extensions since the have to be approved at the division level of immigration. You will get a extension stamp the with full 60 day from the day you applied when you return.

Look at your stamp again.

What a waste of stamp space in the passport book when extensions were already approved back in April for 27 July extension.

Yeah.  They were already approved back in April for 27 July so your statement  though maybe true doesn't really address why they added the under consideration unnecessarily.   What a waste of resources.. already approved  at a higher level two months ago

Not sure what you are writing about. The order for 60 day extensions was just extended from today to July 29th.

Every time you apply for a new 60 day covid extension it requires approval again.

You have repeatedly complained about under consideration stamp in various threads. Get over it. Very fortunate for tourists in Thailand to be able to obtain ongoing 60 day covid extensions.

Yes. You are correct.   Each passport comes with allotted pages for vida stamps.  If each time one applies for extension,  and the government  had already approved  extensions,  as in this case in March early April they had already  approved extensions  until July, then why give another under consideration stamp and fill up passport books faster.  Today they approved  everyone until September

They extended the issuing of covid extensions from May 29 till July end.

You will still need to apply for 60 day covid extensions and you will receive under consideration stamp, same as previously the case.

Tourist  covid visa extension

It's possible to apply for such an extension until end of July. What you wrote in your previous post is just incorrect and misleading.

Yes! I seeon the stamp that application is under consideration and to be back on 15 June

That means when I will be back they will extend me for remaining days? Do I need to pay again 1,900 and bring some documents one more time?

Thanks all for your answers!

You get stamped to 60 days from when your previous extension ended.

You only need your passport when you go back. No paperwork or money needed.

Is Covid Extension form still required?  I went today and requested covid extension form, they just gave me the normal extension forms

There is no special application form. You use the standard TM7 form.

There is the affidavit you will need to complete that a link for downloading it was posted in the previous post.
