The Facebook ad said "long and strong", but the dong went wrong.

You can buy them in Vietnam but they cost several million dong, batteries not included.

Logic states if these are illegal sex toys there must be legal ones?  if not why not?

The government thinks it's job is to control people's lives to that extent? I mean they wouldn't ban porn sites right?  oh wait...

He obviously had not made the standard contribution to the local 'cop shop tea fund'.

Yesterday mid-afternoon I walked along Sukhumvit Road from Asok to Nana (on the right hand side).  I lost count of the number of ‘table shops’ that where setup on the pavement openly selling sex toys and ED meds etc.  I would estimate there was one ‘table shop’ about every 50 meters.

If I recall correctly there is some local regulation which prohibits traders from ‘setting up’ their stalls on this side of Sukhumvit Road until after 6pm, apart from the fact that selling sex toys is apparently illegal in Thailand.  Obviously, the local authority street officers and the local cops are ‘turning a blind eye’ to this blatant trade.

Crazy!

The investigation conducted by the Royal Thai Police took place after a customer had ordered sex toys from an online Facebook page and discovered that the products were reportedly not of good quality.

Isn't Major General Natthasak Chaovanasai supposed to say….”Acting on the orders of PM Prayuth Chan-o-cha - to keep Thailand safe from ‘not of good quality sex toys’….”?

Outrageous... Crime of the century...

The sanctimony and faux outrage that these reports highlight indicate a truly ridiculous and pathetic set of laws.

For once, not as silly as it may seem ????.  As my wife explained, the concern is that these counterfeit toys have been known to damage those private parts (severely).  Apparently there are standards for sticking objects in orifices which must be adhered to!

A Thai guy was asked if he was married or not,  He held his hands up and said "I have two wives".

And usually the dominant feels better.. ????

Pathetic isnt it, a man selling a few dildos is struck with the full force of he police farce, who sadly have sod all more important to do with their time, than spend it displaying dildos just for the photo op.

Get a life dipsticks, get out there and catch real criminals.

Heres a tip.... Have a look in government house, place is full of them.????

He would have been better setting up a street stall in Thong Lor near the police station....safe as houses there but a lot of competition????

"Illegal" sex toys.  Maybe someone can tell me the list of "legal" ones.  Are the "legal" ones manufactured and sold by people are rich enough and important enough?  If all sex toys are illegal then the word "illegal" is redundant.  In any case, I prefer the human touch - my own or someone else's (providing I like the person, of course).

That's illegal here too.  And the dildoes in the picture above will throw the book at you if they catch you, but they usually save their raids for Valentines day, to scare the local teens into celibacy.

This is obviously far more important than people selling Guns and Ammo and sending them to buyers through the post.    Of course; brains would be needed to solve crimes as serious as that !

Oh no, the wife is going to be absolutely devastated, luckily for her, she has lots of toys to play with for the time being.

It's a hungry woman that uses that red one.

Woman browsing in a sex shop spends a long time looking at the selection of dildos. After carefully examining packages and peering into display cases.

Finally, she approaches the sales counter. The clerk asks her, "Have you made a selection?"

"Yes, I'll take the red one over there in the glass cabinet."

"Ma'am, that's the fire extinguisher."

Months ago we were discussing a topic where women were delivered sex toys COD which they had not ordered. Some people wondered why many ladies did not complain to the police. I stated that the sale of sex toys was illegal in Thailand (and hence the women did not want to be implicated and investigated for something they did not do. i.e. guilty by implication because they paid the COD) Someone answered me with a statement that online sales were legal this proves that statement to be unfounded.

If your wife believes that she'll believe anything. So where are these 'real' toys, that don't damage poor Thais, to be purchased?  in the local sex shop?  online?  surely such concern for the purchase of REAL toys is justified - and they are freely available right? ...WRONG
