Went to Bangkok Bank today Udon Thani province. Advised 1 year statement will take 2 weeks. Asked for 6 month

recieved within 20 minutes and ordered the 1 year statement. I’ve a receipt for 6 month and 12 month (on order).

Guess I’ll have to plea my case and hope it’s acceptable.....

Normally it only takes 7 days to get the one year bank statement.

I doubt immigration will accept the receipt for the one year statement.

Hi Ubonjoe I doubt it also.. hopefully the bank gets it here sooner..... maybe I’ll call it a trip to import store and a stop

Possibly some useful information:

At Jomtien IO there is a choice for the Bank account information.

I was advised either I obtain the 12 month Bank Statement, or print every page of my bankbook/sign every page (with the caveat that I had updated the book at least once a month, so they could see every transaction and balance). I opted for the Bank Statement as my account is also my daily use account and I would have had to print out about 18 pages.

It took 5 minutes at my Kasikorn branch to produce a complete 2 year history printout. Why a week? 

S C B in Ao nang prints mine and the required letter with the all important stamps at once and charges 200 baht, I like living in the laid back South.

The OP uses Bangkok Bank. That's why.

 After my BB branch told me they can only print statements for last 6-months and have to get the previous 6 months from Bangkok, I came up with a solution. My extension renews in late Nov. So now, I locally get a 6-month print-out the end of May and then the other 6 months mid Nov, for the same cost.
