The first floor will accommodate at least 5,000 beds for COVID-19 patients while the second floor will be utilized as an intensive-care unit. The third and fourth floors are expected to accommodate patients with mild or no symptoms." But where are all the staff, doctors and nurses coming from???? https://coconuts.co/bangkok/news/5000-beds-will-land-at-suvarnabhumi-airports-new-terminal-turned-covid-hospital/ Yea, it will be something thrown together for a photo op with rows of neatly made beds. No way it’s a proper functioning hospital in the true sense of the word. And 5k beds takes care of the next 3 days worth of (net) new patients. Where do the rest go?

Must not have been clear yes you were right though i like to be sure that what your saying is the truth. Anyway its not going well.

What you have posted was pretty much the situation for much of the early part of this year. Numbers started rising during and after Songkran. Source: Worldometer My point was that there were already hundreds of cases in Isaan prior to Songkran. Despite the reports of a million+ Bangkok residents going to Isaan over Songkran, the results were only a small number of new infections in Isaan during the next month. Even in May, there were small numbers of cases in Isaan. The big surge in Isaan came much later, especially with the Delta variant. 1 1

Yep, for sure Phuket was required to keep cases low for sandbox purposes and took the necessary action to ensure that was the case. with the number of people testing positive on planes that fly in and out, how can there be next to no cases in the general population? It beggars belief. 6

What’s going to stop/slow this way, way down is a robust vaccine program period. If people aren’t vaccinated (with a real vaccine) then the minute you reopen it will flame up again. The only thing that slowed this in the US was the vaccines and strict mask wearing.
