Is there any SuperRich office in Patong or Phuket town?

 

I'm in Patong for sandbox but most currency exchange offices here are closed and the few offices still open have really bad exchange rates.

 

 

I believe there used to be one in Phuket town but this no longer exists. A local resident told me the only one nowadays is at the airport. Their website should show current locations?

the best rate now can be at SCB in central phuket town.

if you come with  a big amount, more than 1000 USD, they will give you

the TT buying rate from their website.

Over several years I have always found that the best rates (and longest queues) have been at the kiosk on the corner of Bangla/Beach Road - is that one open these days?

Yes, and actually, after looking in many other places, I am changing there.

 

Today, against the euro

- official rate: 38'8

- Superrich: 38'45

- Bangla kiosk: 38'07

- most kiosks: 37'xx

- airport: 35

 

I wrote to Superrich but now they don't have office in Phuket.

On the day of your transaction, NC Plus in Phuket Town was offering a better rate than SuperRich and was open, and all branches of Bangkok Bank and Siam Commercial were both offering better rates than the Bangla kiosk.

 

Obviously Bangla, as with many others, has you by the cojones ????
