Would air taxis in Bangkok be a good idea?

I know, so, as I said, they're not helicopters.

"...all electrical, no carbon footprint".

No carbon footprint, you sure about that?   How are they built, then, and does the electricity to charge them come from magic carbon footprint-free sources?!

Reminder that the existence of living humans is not carbon-free.

On a broader scale:

As to manufacturing and charging, replacing hydrocarbon fuels with alternative energy sources adds further reducing carbon footprint. I believe this is Telsa's approach, so why not electric air taxis?

flying ability would be a bigger one.

Yep, but you have to see the positive side... this is THE chance of Thailand to not only keep the first place in road accidents and deaths worldwide, but gain another first place in the number of annual air accident deaths worldwide...

Didn't say that it was so I don't need a reminder, thanks.

Maintenance might be a small problem.

What maintenance, if it's not broken don't (try) fix it...

What excuse will replace "brake failure"?

The air's the same with these, with taxis or walking!

No sense of humor or sarcasme.

What's the relevance of my sense of humour when your comment wasn't funny or "sarcasme" [sic]?

First time i will admit that this is a good idea at least i won't spend 30000 baht every 3 month for my car changing parts broken by the polls in roads

Will the Hi so in Thailand be able to own one privately and clog up the parking spots

like they do with their cars in the handicap parking stalls?  My other concern is the

building structures in Thailand, will they be able to handle the extra weight of these taxis?

Geezer

This is your point of view and that's typical for Liverpoolians.

What could possibly go wrong when who combine Thai Airways and Bangkok cabs ????

Although, this would just bring into view the widening gap between poverty and hiso in a very Bladerunner landscape.

Air taxi's in Thailand, the rebirth of kamikaze.

And who would pilot them. A lot of the current taxi drivers are severely challenged piloting a 4 wheeled vehicle, not to mention a flying one ????

They are fully autonomous (no pilot).

Obviously they wouldn't replace regular taxis, but for certain trips they would be great.

It's a great idea actually and many cities have started testing them and working on the legislation etc.
