The Mor Prom app contains your vaccine certificate. The vaccine certificate has your address in Thailand that you provided. I don't see anywhere written on our passport nationality.

You should ask a Thai person or pay a Thai person to setup Mor Prom for you on your phone.

You need to find out which hospital managed the vaccination programme at Bang Sue and go along there with your certificate, your passport and your phone.

I didn't even get a certificate at the centre when I was vaccinated, (not at Bang Sue) but I knew the dates and when I visited the hospital they soon found the records, updated the Mor Prom data and gave me a hard copy of the certificate. All good now.

Perhaps some kind soul would like to inform me how to get and use Mor Phrom on my Line app in order to access my vaccination record. I have had AZ and Pfizer at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya if that helps. Regards, thoengthaied.

There appears to be three methods of providing proof:- Certificate, Mor Prom App and Vaccination Booklet (yellow book).

To me it appears that none of these are 100%  stand alone.

I'm old school, i.e. don't like using QR Codes or downloading apps, so I opted for the Yellow Vaccination Passport.

So if your in the same category as me, I suggest you take your Vaccination Certificate to your Ministry of Public Health Office, along with a copy of your front page in your passport, Pink ID card if you have one (originals as well) and complete a simple form in Thai, name address, age, country of origin etc and submit the application, pay 50 baht and they will tell you to come back in a week to collect it.

I have put mine in my passport as it fits nicely, also have taken photos and loaded into my album on my iPhone in case I lose it.

You ,personally, may not like QR codes but the country, or whatever, may want to scan a code rather than look at a booklet.

Fortunately they obviously understand that not everyone is up to speed with technology, so there is the other option, you know the one we originally started out with.

No doubt passports will become a thing of the past when they have rounded us all up, fingerprinted us and created a worldwide system where we either scan our eyes using the biometric method or the fingerprint method when travelling, and I will be dead and cremated by then, thankfully.

If you were given the 13 digit code, most start with 600000, then you can down load the Thai hospital app, not line, and register

The girls at the front desk tried to register me on the Mor Phrom app but I don't have a Thai ID number so it didn't work.  There is a hospital ID number at the top of my receipt from Bang Sue but the hospital name isn't given.  It is not clear on the paper from Bang Sue that two shots of the AZ vaccine were given.  What to do?

Went for my second jab on Monday and couldn't get the certificate as their computer system had crashed, maybe with Thailand now rushing out the vaccines their system just can't cope. still waiting for phone call from hospital so i can collect it.

My Bang Sue Certificate clearly states that AZ was given in both doses-unless of course you have a different certificate from me.

I am up to speed with technology, but do not need or desire many aspects of it. No smart phone yet.  Still just voice and text 3 g flip top phone!  I have a computer at home and use computers all day long at work. Smart phone data plans have so many hooks and privacy and data snooping... yech.  I did buy a big MOTO G7 Power as a backup and possibly device.  No data plan yet. I will be changing carriers next year for sure as I replace my 3g phone with a 4g.  Smart phone is still TBD.  My MOTO does work with wifi right out of the box so I have been playing with it, feeling it ouit, downloaded a few apps, can get to the internet, even photo'd some casino jackpot checks and deposited to my Etrade account!  Pretty sure I don't like to carry around the big phone.  I still use a phone 99 percent of the time for voice and text and like a small pocket phone.  To use a smart phone, well it really needs a big screen to push buttons, see things, etc, but I am not crazy about lugging a big phone around.  Will see how I feel next year when I retire and if I really need much smart phone usage while not in the house

The document that I received at Bang Sue showed the first injection and an appointment date for the second.  I received the same paper back after my second injection with the number 41 written on it and of course a second checkmark for waiting the 20 minutes after the injection.  I asked a staff lady there how I could prove that I had had two shots.  She said that I could do it through Mor Phrom using my passport number.  That doesn't seem to be possible.  I have tried to identify the hospital sponsoring the vaccination with no luck.  There is only a hospital number at the top of the page.

I understand that the Mor Prom app has been updated -but you still need the 13digit ID number. After my vaccination, 2nd one, in Bang Sue I asked around the various groups of people manning computers. Eventually I found a guy who was able to generate the 13 digit number and he was able to print out my Certificate. I think that after the first day or so of second doses the staff at Bang Sue were up to speed in getting this information.
