Arriving on visa exemption

Featured Replies

I am really struggling with getting the rite visa in order travelling last minute. If i arrive on Visa exemption, is it easy to extend whilst in Thailand? I'll be travelling with children too. We are british citizens.

Is it even possible to extend?

How many extensions can you get ? Also for how long ?

What if we wanted to change visa whilst in Thailand so we could stay longer? Is this possible?

One 30 day extension. If the possibility to get 60 day Covid extensions should be extended (currently it would end November 26th), then later you could get those.

Yes, you could change the visa exempt to a non-immigrant visa at immigration, if you qualify for one.

Only one 30 day extension per entry.

Think you should join this thread with you other current thread as it's all same issue.

Also indicate how long you wish to remain in Thailand.

Covid extensions may be an option.

OKay will keep it to this thread.

Can we apply for a longer term tourist visa instead for safety? If so, which one?

As asked earlier. How long would you be wanting to stay in Thailand.

Ideally for around 6 months, but maybe longer.
