Trying to keep up with the remaining curfew impositions.  Need to get to Suvarnabumi from near Icon Siam for a 1:30 am flight mid week. Are there likely to be taxis out and about 2230-2300 hrs willing to do this?  Otherwise, would a pre-booked Grab be a better option?

Yes...taxis from that location really should not be an issue, especially because you have major hotels all around you there.

I thought they lifted the curfew now.

I'm sure curfew has been lifted.. 

No more curfew, but in any case with flight ticket  you would have been able to go to the airport even during curfew.

 

We always make a move from the inner city out to a hotel near Suvarnabhumi in the afternoon.

Stay a few hours there, visit the markets, go for a feed. (Thong Ta ...about $30.00)

Not the greatest hotel but ok and they have their own free shuttle every 15 minutes or so and just a 3 or 4 minute ride, dropped off right at departure.

Best thing is we don't have to worry about getting a taxi, breaking down, getting stuck in traffic etc. etc.
