USA e-visa

Featured Replies

Hello, I am an United States citizen and my e-visa or single entry tourist visa is approved.
I received a PDF file. Do I print out this PDF file or go to the consulate to obtain a visa page on my passport. I am not sure what to do of this Covid situation. Just print the email is gonna be very convenient for me. Thank you.

I'm 99% sure all the Thai consulates in the US are closed due to Covid, is it possible you missed the mail in your passport with a paid return envelope and they'll mail it back to you with the visa part?

It’s an e-visa directed from the New York consulate website page, I didn’t visit the New York consulate yet. I thought the print out is good enough, but who knows. The customer service telephone number always does not work, that’s why I am not sure what to do.

Yes the email is all you need. Print the email which is your e-visa. No sticker in your passport anymore

The email is you stickerless visa. You have to print it out to show immigration on entry or anywhere it is asked for.

When you open the e visa site there is a large popup that mentions the stickerless visa. This from it.

Attention : From 26 September 2021, 11.00 PM (UTC), it is no longer required for e-Visa applicant to submit his/her passport and original supporting documents in person at the Royal Thai Embassy/Consulate. After the e-Visa application has been approved, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to applicants. It is kindly requested to print a copy of the confirmation e-mail to present to airline and Thai Immigration officials to carry out checks when travelling to Thailand.
