Looking for lost purse left in Chiang Dao

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Friend of ours is helping find the purse at a PTT station in Chiang Dao that had been left behind by the owner.

If anyone finds the purse of Rebecca Bullock, American, drivers license from Kentucky, please PM me and we can get them back together.

Thanks!

Go back to the PTT station explaining the situation and leave your contact details.  Odds are 50/1 Rebecca will rock up there today looking for her purse.

I think the OP is on behalf of Rebecca who lost the purse at that PTT station.

The CCTV might still be useful if it can spot where she dropped it and who picked it up.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

Finding a lost purse in Thailand akin to finding your long lost youth, gone, never to be seen again and i'm not saying it with a malice, just knowing how things works here...

The CCTV footage is going to be looked over.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Sorry to mislead you, you read before I had to radically revise the post due to the fact that the wife misread the message which then totally changed what the post was about.   It's a lost purse, not a found purse.  Thanks for responding.

No you don't, have been ignoring the multiple posts about people returning lost items.

Totally agree....   I have read on many occasions how money was found and returned to owner. My wife's relatives used to drive taxis and buses in BKK and were always returning leftover item to the owners. The same goes with many of their coworkers.

Not all common Thais are as crooked as some government workers (can be said about many different countries).

You never know,my better half forgot her wallet on a table at the local market.

Came home crying and all worried,i told her no problem we can replace everything no problem.

We found the wallet in our mailbox the next morning, money was gone but all of the important

stuff was still there except they kept my picture as a younger man.

Damn,i must have been handsum ,

The chance of getting the wallet back is very good. Thais are very good about returning wallets, handbags, etc. that they find. Ignore the negative posts. In my family I can think of 3 times that we lost wallets and handbags and we got them back all 3 times, although one time 8,000 Baht was missing (but all credit cards were there and never used).

That's not true at all.
