Thanks for this post. I was under the impression the first covid test on arrival to Thailand was done in airport. So nice to see it is done at hotel. Cheers.

Everyone I know has praised how easy and efficient it was.

Seems some just have a problem following rules and adapting.

If in fact that option is available with your hotel package.

Otherwise, you may have it done at a hospital prior to transport to your hotel.

I wore a cloth mask from December to June, while I was there.  The quarantine hotel even gave a cloth mask at check in last December, though that was a bit small and uncomfortable to wear.  I believe most people don't use them because they don't want to keep cleaning them.  I just boil water and leave it in a coffee cup then hang to dry.

That is the case for Phuket arrivals only.
