webfact
Daily News reported that the police rescue services in Paknampran, Pranburi swung into action after reports of tourists in trouble. They had been kite surfing and had been blown onto rocks 500 meters off Khao Kalok beach. The police and other rescue services utilized jetskis to effect the rescue while a helicopter hovered overhead directing operations. It was a tricky operation due to the high waves. At 5pm two people were successfully rescued - a Thai woman aged 45 and a man from Hong Kong, also 45. A video showed the rescue of the couple yesterday.
