May I ask kindly you repay the taxpayers of Australia all the money you took whilst bludging instead of looking for a job !!

Surely you can do some goodness in your life

How do you know this?

Who pays you? Are you an independent contractor?

I wonder how much of it can be attributed to generous welfare systems that get taken advantage of.

Why don't you leave the man alone and mind your own business? His lifestyle choices  have nothing to do with you!

  • Current annual cost of welfare / social services in Oz is AUD$191.8 billion. Personally I would not define welfare payments as 'generous', it is extremely difficult to live on welfare in Oz. e.g. Age

It does seem quite astonishing that there isn't a super High-Speed Rail connecting the south to the north and the east to the west. That ranks up there with America as being incredibly lame, backwards and not progressive. There's so much open land that entitlement issues would seem to be quite minimal, and it would be a fairly simple process if there was enough political will.

The Sydney - Melbourne - Sydney flight route is in the Top 10 busiest flight routes in the world, so yes, crazy there is no high speed rail.

Well, in that case, you should be concerned about the proposed changes to non resident tax policy. 😂

Wow. I guess you ripped off the Australian tax payer for a lot of single mother pension. Not only did I pay to feed you, but also your kids. 🙂

Gee wizz Mike, ru trying to gleen some insite into Oz, this freak your toying with is a bad choice if it's the truth you seek. Ask any other Ozzie forum member, but not this troll.

You lived on the bludge in Coober Pedy, and spell insight as insite, and you present ZERO content of your own, just personal attacks, but what's the most funny thing is you advise the member to ask other Aussies, but not yourself, for information. Clearly, you know you are not up to offering any credible information. 😂

Let's look at the wonderful Census stats for Coober Pedy.

Just look at how much of the tax payer's money goes to prop up the place.

You were not required to look for a job in disadvantaged towns in order to get the dole back then. That's why he lived there. It's free ride.

Go back to your mama, you got no clue how the mop is doing?

Only weeks away now.

Remember, if Australia loses its AAA credit rating, you are looking at 15 baht to $1AUD exchange rate, possibly lower.

Strap yourself in for the ride. 🙂

This is the second time you have made fun of Australian culture , considering ironic since you grew up from the Bogan suburbs and put your hand out to the government

Didn't you have enough in your Superannuation?

I will be unable to claim the old age pension when I'm 67 as I worked too hard unlike you

More fool me

I agree, and sorry to sound progressive, but having 20 plus grandchildren is not something to be proud of in this day and age, when overpopulation is one of the greatest problems facing the world today.

Small population with vast distances makes the economics sketchy. However the bigger problem is lawfare. Red tape, green tape and black tape. It can take a decade to get anything approved. That's the problem with a big country and a population concentrated in half a dozen cities. Everyone wants a say about an area they really should have no interest in. But they do, and loudly.

Try and open a coal mine and the objections are about some obscure lizard or frog that may be affected. Greens go nuts and can delay or stop the development for many years.

Hack and slash through pristine rain forests to build a wind farm.....not a peep from the Greens.

That is the beauty of eminent domain, and perhaps it should be used more often. It just shuts up the naysayers and stops them cold in their tracks, so to speak.

I am an advocate for abortion when and if it's called for, if the woman does not want to have a child, if the child was a product of rape or sexual assault of any kind, within the first trimester, I think abortions are totally cool.

The world is already grossly overpopulated, I'm thrilled that many countries are experiencing declining birth rates and some are even blessed with negative birth rates, and the last thing in the world this planet needs is another child.

Likely the single wisest decision I ever made in this lifetime was to not have children. I'm thankful for that decision every day of my life. And don't get me wrong I like kids, I just don't want to own one.

Well I did qualify it by saying only in the first trimester, only if the woman does not want to have the child, and or only if there are extreme circumstances such as rape.

It's a woman's body, she should have the choice, and the last thing this world needs is another unwanted, or neglected child.

Well, but, what if, invaders of Oz stole some for slaves, slaughtered some, starved some too, take your pick. Stolen generations, "cool" phrase might suit your repetoire. My original comment re 20+ grand kids was refering to several families over 3 or 4 generations, all my sprogs sprogs tho!

Got it. That makes a lot more sense. At the risk of sounding racist your original statement sounded like you were living in a Muslim nation in Africa. After all 21 out of 22 of the nations with the highest birth rates in Africa are predominantly Muslim, herein lies the problem.

I have no problem with how many children and grandchildren people have, as long as the parents provide for them, and not the tax payer.

You have contradicted yourself.

You said you are still earning from opal / lease / rent, which means you have to put in a tax return.

I smell BS.

If you worked all your life you would have some super, yet you claim to be on an aged pension. This means you worked for "cash" thus committed fraud, or never worked at all and bludged off the tax payer.
