Hank Williams Jr. - Country Boy Can Survive

(For some of you who are not familiar with Hank Jr., he was one the first country music to semi-brag about smoking weed.) His songs are about his true life.

Eagles - Hotel California

(The guitar solo by Joe Walsh on this song was rated number one in an article by Rolling Stone. Not Sure I would agree, given Hendrix and Santana and few others, but it's definitely one of the great ones.)

I've started a new thread just for the Blues. From year zero till now. I won't be posting anymore Blues is this thread.

I’m sorry to hear this, but I understand. I’ve enjoyed 100% of the blues songs you’ve posted here MD - plus all the Dylan songs. Maybe you should consider putting it to a vote?

I've had a "think" and back-pedalled on my decision above. I will be posting blast-from-the-past blues in this thread once more.

Hey JVS, I became a fan of Meatloaf late in my days. Here's another I really liked by him:

Paradise by the Dashboard Lights was a great song, IMHO. (Reminds of all those times I tried to score as a teen).

i guess that love is like a Christmas card
You decorate a tree, you throw it in the yard
It decays and dies, and the snowmen melt
Well, I once knew love, I knew how love felt

Yeah, I knew love, love knew me
And when I walked, love walked with me
And I got no hate, and I got no pride
Well, I got so much love that I cannot hide
Yeah, I got so much love that I cannot hide

Glad to hear it MD...after all the 60s, 70s and 80s had some great blues and your taste in that genre is much appreciated.
