Gandtee Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 I have seen no reports on the Andre Boccacelli performance. Have there been any? All very low profile. Was it a success I wonder? The local opera buffs must have been breaking the doors down to see it. A magnificent tenor. 1 1
worgeordie Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Cost a lot of money ....benefits , returns to the country ? , minimal I suspect . Seen a phone video on here , seemed very few people there , judging from the applause , as you say very low profile , regards worgeordie 2
Popular Post Tropposurfer Posted January 6, 2022 Popular Post Posted January 6, 2022 We attended and, and as he does Andre performed beautifully for us. His voice live is far more beautiful than any recording. It was, as Worgeordie said, a small crowd which we also enjoyed. It was for us a glorious evening and one of great beauty. Just the ticket for my soul that's for sure, my love and I had tears in our eyes both at some stages of the performance. We drive home afterwards in a blissful kind of silence. Worth every penny to me. 6 1

I'd assume it wasn't as popular nor successful as promoted. TAT and the government run newspapers would be gushing praise if it had been a success. Seems they just want to brush it under the rug and forget about it. 1
MrJ2U Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 https://thethaiger.com/news/phuket/the-perfect-match-andrea-bocelli-and-phukets-big-public-park-huh Just a little ditty about a reporter having the same questions about the show.
