Thai Rath reported that a middle aged woman riding a lady's motorcycle spread golden thumbtacks all around the car park of Udon Thani police station, NE Thailand.

 

A good samaritan reported the matter to Pol Lt-Col Plaewthong Sariphan who armed himself with a broom and swept up 100 of the thumbtacks from under vehicles and by tires near the flagpole.

No damage was done though if people, the press or police themselves had driven off there was the chance of punctures.

 

The cops are studying CCTV to see who was responsible - though the media reported that the bike had no licence plate.

You have all got it wrong including the police. It was a dirty drunken farang dressed as a woman who had his visa extension rejected because that is where Udon Thani Immigration is located. You lot just cannot accept that it is always a dirty farang, especially if it is near an IM office.

Disgruntled and frustrated by the services provided by the boys in brown? I had more than frustrating experiences with them and had to twist some arms to get them to do the basics of a job they are overpaid for!
Maybe the Udon approach drives the message home as well ............. or, as suggested, she has a tire shop and business had been sort of quiet lately? 

Ahh yes, the old Koga ninja technique ... spread tacks to delay pursuers ... dang pesky ninjas they're  everywhere ....

Should have used carpet tacks or self-tapping screws.
