It would never occur to me to ask about a wall crack on this forum based on a picture. They are building condos everywhere in CM, grab an architect or supervisor and pay him for an opinion.

If I liked the home and it's otherwise a good buy I'd go for it. 

 

It has been my experience that cracks like that are common, and if the addition ten years old, I would not worry about it. 

 

Not sure what people mean when they say it can't be "fixed", but it can certainly be calked and painted over without difficulty.

Comes down to price, and where it is located. Chanote or leased land. 

 

If this is in a falang village in Pattaya, Hua Hin or alike, They went for a cheap solution. 
 

But in any Thai village it is  normal
