Granitic Sand / Road Base / Decomposed Granite

Does anyone know where this kind of product can be sourced / purchased, anywhere in Thailand

i require a large quantity for pathways and a big seating area

its the kind of product often used in public parks as walking tracks, for driveways and even carparks,

its usually a coarse looking type product and when compacted provides a very solid and stable base.

colour is not an issue .

thanks...

thanks farmerjo, as a landscaper back in Aust, i used " fines " quite often as a subsurface for synthetic grass, it does not have the binding power of something like granitic sand.

the local building supplies has a version of fines and it wont work

I would say not common in use in Thailand, there are other granite mines down Lopburi way if you wanted to persist.

On the pea gravel closest i've seen is the stuff used for the sandstone finish which i had at my place.

Pretty sure the guys got it in small bags from global house.

Thanks for the link, after a thorough look, there is nothing suitable for landscaping use

Don’t forget that websites in Thailand seldom list everything that can be bought, specially if the item doesn’t sell often or in large volumes.

thanks, im looking for a quantity a bit bigger than bags

something in the order of a few 10 ton trucks

And how is that relevant? Unless you contact the company directly, probably not by email or in English you are not going to know if they may have something suitable. You need a Thai person who understands exactly what you want to contact them on your behalf. Pictures and videos of the exact kind of product may help.
