INN reported that forestry officials working in Wang Nam Khiaw, Nakhon Ratchasima, found a mysterious human skull.

It was found in the Khao Phu Luang area of Marerng sub-district.

Police said the skull was found fifty meters off a road and was full of soil having probably been there for 3-4 years.

No other bones were found.

It was thought that animals had brought the skull there from another location.

The skull is being kept at the Wang Nam Khiaw police station ahead of an autopsy and forensic analysis to determine who it might have been.

They plan to ask the locals if anyone went missing a few years ago though they said that up to now they had received no reports of a missing person.

Khao Yai National Park is in the western part of the Sankamphaeng Mountain Range, at the southwestern boundary of the Khorat Plateau. The highest mountain in the area of the park is 1,351 metres (4,432 ft) high Khao Rom.

This park lies largely in Nakhon Ratchasima Province (Khorat), but also includes parts of Saraburi, Prachinburi and Nakhon Nayok Provinces.

The park is the third largest in Thailand. It covers an area of 2,168 square kilometers, including tropical seasonal forests and grasslands.

Yeah, and I haven't seen Jane lately either.

I left my brain in Korat a few years ago but the skull is not mine.

What’s the mystery? It’s from a farang who was married to a Thai woman, he probably ran out of money but had a life insurance policy.

And there is jungle! Great to drive.

"Korat" seems to be too difficult for some.

"Korat" = Nakhon Ratchasima.

Without context it could be the city or the province.

Enough jungle on the edge of the >Korat plateau< (Isan).
