May the pathetic apologists never have live through this type of grief.

Photos from Ukraine show horror wrought by Russia’s ‘butchers’

People with real power, and who have ethics do not act in this manner.

The butcher in charge is repeating his behaviour from previous incursions and supports of similar butchers.

You are right. Russian TV is already working on it. It is explaining that we cannot lose this war because Russia will be completely destroyed in this case.

Because all Russians will die from shame?

How many? From ~1500 (from Russian sources) to ~15000(from Ukrainian sources)
And how many soldiers can Vlad mobiliZe? About 30 million soldiers (full mobiliZation).
15000 of 30 million is about 0.05%. This will not stop the true eastern leader.

More likely 30 million nancy boys wetting themselves at the Front.

"Putin and his supporters will feel the consequences" of their actions, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said in a statement to reporters.

German Defence Minister Christine Lambrecht said the European Union should talk about ending Russian gas imports. read more

Germany, Europe's largest economy, has so far resisted calls to impose an embargo on energy imports from Russia, saying its economy and that of other European countries are too dependent on them.

Hopefully the Russian people are smart enough to understand that losing to Ukraine won't destroy, or significantly damage Russia.  It would probably destroy Putin, but that would be good for Russia.

Is Russia saying that Ukraine is committing major atrocities against it's own citizens in order to make Russia look bad?  And doing it without any Ukrainians witnessing and reporting on it?

Does Putin think anyone outside of Russia will believe this?  Does anyone inside Russia believe it?

Its all about Putin. If he can sell a loss as a win there may be hope.

70% of Russians believe it. For long 15 years, Putin’s propaganda taught Russians not to believe their eyes but to propagandists on TV or on the internet who will find a way to excuse any crime that Putin’s regime may commit and to blame it on the victims instead. Ukrainians killed hundreds of Ukrainians in Bucha just to make Putin look bad? Easy! Russian society is seriously ill.

The sad thing is that in WWII the Russians fought the German army, which killed, tortured and raped many Russian people and stole just about anything they could get their hands on. And now there is more and more evidence every day that the Russian army is doing exactly the same thing in Ukraine. I wonder if this has been an order to the soldiers from higher up.

or is because of lack of discipline, lack of training, failing to understand there are rules to be observed or plain hard to gain anything resembling a reasonable life at home ?

It will be interesting should the ICC issue an arrest warrant for war crimes, it will severely limit Putins ability to travel at any time in the future.

Could be all of that, and more. But I find it very hard to understand how enlisted men can commit such (war) crimes without at least the tacit approval of their superiors. Or maybe orders have come down from the Kremlin to create as much chaos and terror as possible, by any means possible.
