Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant: UN experts make first inspection

 

UN nuclear experts have made their first inspection of the Russian-held Zaporizhzhia power plant in Ukraine and are to maintain a presence there.

International Atomic Energy Agency chief Rafael Grossi said the "plant and physical integrity of the plant" had been "violated several times".

The inspectors were accompanied to the plant by Russian soldiers after a risky journey delayed by shelling.

Russia and Ukraine accused each other of trying to sabotage the mission.

just a couple months later (March) after criticizing Ukraine's invasion, it took longer then expected

 

The 67-year-old was chair of the company's board which called for the "soonest termination of the armed conflict" and expressed "sincere empathy for all victims" in March.

Looks like confirmation that they have no intention of stopping at Ukraine, assuming they get the chance:- 

 

The head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Denis Pushilin, has restated the expansionist military aims of Russia’s invasion, saying “Our task is to liberate all Russian cities that were founded by Russian people during the time of the Russian Empire, and developed during the Soviet Union thanks to the help of our entire vast country. And this is not only the territories of Novorossia [the Donbas], but also much wider. It will not be any other way.”

Ukraine Keeps Liberated Areas A Secret To 'Prevent New Enemy Artillery, Airstrikes'

That answers the question of why NATO should help Ukraine:  Russia won't stop with Ukraine unless they are stopped in Ukraine.

Zaporizhzhia: Russian official tells UN nuclear inspectors rocket ‘did 180’ flip

A Russian official has claimed to UN inspectors that a rocket near to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant did a complete 180 degree flip - which is why it appeared to have come from Russian-occupied territory, it has been reported.

The unlikely claim comes as fighting between Russian and Ukrainian forces continued to rage

Is this Russian spokesman moonlighting from TAT ? Coming out with silly stupid comments like this. Was it not Putin that was bragging we have the most up-to-date targeting systems when they fired a missile into a shopping center.

Stupid comments are a speciality of the Russians, another one is that the west supplying weapons prolongs the war, yet they are getting drones from Iran......lol

Drones that either malfunction after a few minutes, or that can quickly be hacked and taken over by the Ukrainians……

Ramzan Kadyrov is taking an indefinite vacation. Could this have anything to do with his obviously and painfully overplaying his hand in the Ukraine war? I mean, he sent in thousands of his troops, they got their @sses handed to them, many got killed, they had to retreat in shame and Kadyrov’s lord and master Putin probably wasn’t all that pleased with that performance. He should probably count himself lucky that he didn’t ‘fall out of a window’ yet, or met his demise in some other unfortunate way.

No one's Interested in Brexit or Trump its about the war between Ukraine and Russia. Not conspiracy theories. Russia invaded another country same as Saddam invaded Kuwait.

Russian forces continue to suffer from morale and discipline issues in Ukraine. In addition to combat fatigue and high casualties, one of the main grievances from deployed Russian soldiers probably continues to be problems with their pay.
