Star fruit

Featured Replies

I've searched high and low for star fruit here in Pattaya, but absolutely no sign of them. I gather they're not that popular with Thais, but I'm not sure. Has anybody come across any on sale anywhere in Pattaya?

TIA

A photo would help. I've not seen these in a while, maybe not season yet. Try Ratanakorn market on Thepprasit, if they haven't got it i doubt anyone has

AS this is a pattaya specific question, please try to use the PATTAYA forum .

I think they're not in season now but Ratanakorn is a good place to start. Also check the TOPS at Central Festival.

I buy em at Foodland on Klang when they are in season.

I think July to November or there abouts.

I have a bush in my garden and we seem to get fruit most of the year round.... a lot of flowers right now.

Thanks to all responders. There is conflicting information on their season on Google. One source said February, another July to November, so I guess the latter.

I'm a regular visitor to the market on Tepprasit. Great for strawberries and avocados, amongst most other fruit. I'm on a lo carb diet so have to avoid high sugar content. Star fruit was recommended.
