Hi, (I hope this is the correct forum)

I live in Nong Khai (11yrs approx) does anyone know the procedure/rules (for covid) for a trip to Pattaya.

I want to go to Pattaya for a holiday (by bus) I have proof of two vax.

Is there anything else I need to do ??

Hope someone has some info

Thanks

Must admit that I am not up-to-date about rules for bus trips.

But for sure: two vaccinations/certificate is good for any domestic travel.

(if there are actually any checks still done? I don't know)

Of course mask on.

For Pattaya: money and keeping a sane mind

Very few hotels aside from the SHA* types ask for proof of vaccination (I experienced that in November).

But also very unlikely.

In Pattaya very loosely enforced rules.

Most entertainment locations having temp check at max.

So in short: nothing else needed.

Very unlikely you'll need anything, unless your hotel asks for your vaccination certificate, which is very rare and should be something they tell you about at the the time of booking.

Good luck with the Bus trip. We Are in Pattaya at the moment from Korat. You may be asked for Vax Certs. We were not. That’s all. Need a hotel. We are in the Aiyaree Place hotel jomtien. B500 with

decent breakfast. Good luck.

Unfortunately some miss that. Not a problem for me (vaxxed) but got some discussion for an antivaxxer who I know

Sounds like hotel operators are more on the ball than most, not asking for vaccination documents.

what Thailand needs is to drop regulations, not useless and ineffective political posturing policies. The vaccinated spread Covid.

A friend just took a bus, Bangkok to Khon Kaen then several days later, returned via bus.

She was required to show proof of two vaccinations at the bus stations in Bangkok for the outbound trip and Khon Kaen for the return..
