COVID-19 patients in Thailand, who are asymptomatic or have only mild symptoms, will be able to access medical services at Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) clinics, in addition to home and community isolation facilities, from March 1st, according to Public Health Permanent Secretary Dr.Kiattibhoom Vongrachit Saturday.

He said that out-patient medical services at ARI clinics are an alternative for people infected with COVID-19 in case they can’t access home or community isolation facilities after testing positive for the virus.

At the ARI clinics, he said that patients will have access to COVID-19 tests, examinations, medications and advice from doctors about how to take care of themselves while they are quarantined at home.

If your asymptomatic or mild why in Christ's name would you need a bloody ACUTE respiratory infection clinic? Sorry for shouting lol. Most people don't know they are asymptomatic until tested isn't that the definition?  These are doctors putting forward this nonsense?

a·symp·to·mat·ic
/ˌāsim(p)təˈmadik/

adjective
MEDICINE
  1. (of a condition or a person) producing or showing no symptoms.
    "infection is usually asymptomatic"

Definition of acute

1a(1) : characterized by sharpness or severity of sudden onset acute pain. (2) : having a sudden onset, sharp rise, and short course acute illness. (3) : being, providing, or requiring short-term medical care (as for serious illness or traumatic injury) acute hospitals an acute patient.

Generally not a bad idea to treat more people as outpatients, but I wonder how they will get to those clinics? If by public transport, they'll be spreading the virus around more.
