Now just need to go after the rest of the current network disinformation agents and we'll be ok

From the article:

A representative for Fox News told Insider that Hanick worked as a director across daytime programming and left the network in 2011.

Both hannick and his russian handler, malofeyev, look like russian intelligence assets.

SDNY on the job as usual.

I sometimes go between CNN and Fox, that's my excuse for watching Fox at all, and this  morning they had a guest on Brian Kilmeade's One Nation who was talking about his bad experiences with Putin in the past.

He then talked about how there have been so many apologists and sycophants to Putin over the years, despite his terrible treatment of his own people, and the media. There wasn't a hint of a reaction by Kilmeade despite their networks treatment of Putin as a strong able leader.

I think in general this is a big turning point where Americans can see that there are times where having a leader who takes a moral stand, and who can build strong allies with a common stance, is an important and good thing. It may alter who is deemed electable and who is not.

No, Fox is particularly and most obviously egregious in their praise of Putin in recent times.

The most popular U.S. network Fox along with the last U.S. president are stewing in deep culpability due to their insipid cheerleading for Putin, a man that decent Americans knew all along was evil. Never forget that press conference in Finland.

Both are trying to backtrack now to cover their asses but don't be fooled. The reasons for their affinity to Putin and other anti-democracy strong man dictators remain solidly intact.

There is a history to this. The white supremacist explicitly pro Hitler "America First" movement before WW2. No coincidence at all that the Fox/Trump alliance used the exact same slogan.

Good one. As if they possess the ability to experience guilt.

tucker apologized, laura is a putin fan boi, two of her children were adopted from russia, her calling sen. graham "stupid" for suggesting someone assassinate putin was probably down more to her serving as his beard ~ 20 years ago.

But this chap left fox 11 years ago so, meh.

You're seriously defending Tucker Carlson  and taking any "apology" of his as sincere?

BTW, I changed guilt to culpability in response to your post which I think you're correct implied that they feel and accept personal guilt. Of course they don't. I meant they are GUILTY and they want to avoid consequences for that by trying to hope we don't remember what they did for MANY YEARS.

It was stupid. Not because it is a bad idea but because assassination of a foreign leader is against the Geneva Convention and a US senator making that suggestion is fodder for Putin's propaganda. Outside of government, it's fine.

And too in its anti-UN messaging.

Of course it was, don't have to be a genius to come to that conclusion.

Who said it wasn't?

Evidence you can take the man out of the sewer but you can’t take the sewer out of the man.

OK. So you agree with me that his "apology" is just a CYA and worthless then, yeah?

The distinguishing thing about Fox is that they will fabricate with impunity.  Spin, unfortunately, is everywhere.

Ethics?  As Sean Hannity himself will say on occasion "I never said I was a journalist."  This is why ethical journalism does not come into play.  A few weeks ago Fox began a new full-on assault of Hillary, something to do with the 2016 race.  That weekend she made a speech at some Dem event and mentioned it briefly, said Fox was getting close to actual malice.  Her name has not been spoken since.  Roger Ailes, the founding father of Fox (now dead) had a rule of only attacking those who would not fight back.

They had just emerged from a "private conference."

Two questions:

Which of these 2 men looks like he just experienced an involuntary, impromptu colonoscopy (or something like that)?

Which of these 2 men looks like he just administered it?

Fox had a real journalist named Shepherd Smith that actually reported facts but the viewers hated him.

You can go back on the YouTube channel and see the comments. The Fox audience are not interested in facts and logic.

Russia’s bioweapon conspiracy theory finds support in US.

Russia’s baseless claims about secret American biological warfare labs in Ukraine are taking root in the U.S. too, uniting COVID-19 conspiracy theorists, QAnon adherents and some [others].

----

That hasn’t stopped the claim from being embraced by some on the far-right, by Fox News hosts, and by groups that push debunked claims that COVID-19 is a bioweapon created by the U.S.

I once heard Keith Olbermann (remember him?) refer to "Bill Hemmer, who gave up a career in journalism to work at Fox News."

Olbermann at one time dated Laura Ingraham, but no likes to talk about this.

I beg to differ.  In 2011, CNN was credible.
