K60 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 (edited) View from a little place on South of Island - soz don't know where it was exactly Edited November 16, 2007 by K60
sbk Posted November 17, 2007 Posted November 17, 2007 I scanned a couple of old photos from when I first arrived on Koh Phangan. I'll have to look around for Thong Sala photos, but here is one of the main road in Hadrin. and the pier in Chaloklum Pardon the poor quality, in this climate prints don't look quite so great after 18 years 1

ham Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 here a cool sunset in october, over the angthon marine national park, also a whale in the same area and the beach where the picture where taken, at the right side, pirate bar (moonset party place) ham
johnsurin Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 Here's one of the big buddha on Samui. It was taken a few years ago by a film camera, and I have recently scanned it so my apologies for the not so great quality. It was taken from a remote beach north of the buddha, just as the sun was setting. I was quite surprised how it came out, as it was still light when I took it.
ham Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Strange cloudes over the west coast of Phangan (12.1.08) ham
LaoPo Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Wow...very special, very rare, unique and beautiful I think. Tried to Google 'striped clouds' but there's nothing similar so far. You might want to sell the pics thru a photo agency...#2 and 4 are very nice.. LaoPo
Jose Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 I have a feeling that this is one of those relationships destined to fail - too much of a cultural divide: jose '-) 1

LaoPo Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 You're welcome, Rooo. Some of the colours of Bantai beach: jose '-) Very nice ! Thanks for sharing. Where did the motorized hang glider start (and hopefully landed) LaoPo
Jose Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Where did the motorized hang glider start (and hopefully landed) Lao, he/she took off from the narrow (10m at the time) beach to the right of our house, did a couple of heart-stopping pendulum swings on climb, and headed off along the coast towards Haad Rin. I haven't seen him/her since. jose '-)
sbk Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Came past our house and headed back towards Ban Tai, looked ok when we saw it
Jose Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Came past our house and headed back towards Ban Tai, looked ok when we saw it Still waiting for it to come back this way - maybe took a wrong turn somewhere, SBK... Perhaps it's time to call KPG Search & Rescue (aka Thunderbirds)? jose '-)

Nirvana Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Does anyone have an older pictures of Samui from as early as possible, would be very interested to View.
Kan Win Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Some of me earlier works (2004) Pano's, using an Olympus C-2500L a year later Chwaeng Bay Samui Samui, Nathon, Beach View in three parts as these would not stitch up together Not a Pano photo BTW Back to Pano's and this one is a bit bent as it was taken at about 180 degrees, still (pun intended) my fav photo in Koh Samui. Looked for it this year, the site, but could not see it from the road, as buildings where blocking this view. This last one is a quiz as I know where I took this panoramic photo from, but what is the name of this place? More photos on me webpage that Kan be found on me Profile page. Yours Kan Win P.S. "Rooo" thank you for your message on my web-page
