Thai Rath reported on customs activity of the Airport Interdiction Task Force (AITF) at Suvarnabhumi airport.

Officials were suspicious of a 44 year old man from Guinea who arrived from Nigeria via Ethiopia on Saturday.

A check of his luggage revealed nothing but he was watched at his hotel where he did the one night quarantine.

When he left next morning he was arrested and taken back to the airport where an xray revealed mysterious packets in his stomach.

Oh Well TAT did say they wanted only rich tourists ????

Make life miserable for the dirty westerners and European falangs that have been supporting the economy to the tune of billions of baht per year. I appreciate covid has changed things a lot But Thailand was always a fun place, Not too dangerous,. Prices relatively cheap and not too many scum like this lurking around soy 11. TAT's attitude to us has imho turned many regulars away for life. Retirees begin to look elsewhere and the place starts to go downhill with the scum filling the void. Oh how I wish it was 15 - 20 years ago. The only silver lining is another Scumbag bites the dust ????

They keep letting 'em in....so this stuff will keep coming in....along with the romance scams..drugs on the street and all the other niceties that these people seem to deliver!

So they should stop letting "'em" in, as in folks from Africa -- or just Blacks?  That's surely not what you mean, is it?
