I'd like to hear a beep when copying content (Ctrl+C).

I'm running Win 10 Pro 64-bit, and using a Ditto Clipboard Manager.

Any advice?

Switch to CopyQ, define a "Play Sound On Copy" command thus:

powershell:

(New-Object Media.SoundPlayer "C:\Users\copy.wav").PlaySync()

Clipmate has this as a standard feature, but is payware. Good program. The Thornsoft site seems down, however.

Ditto doesn't work reliably for me and I don't like the interface much. Supposedly if you define a shortcut for a buffer, you can select the option for sound to play.

Is it possible to add an event Cnrl+C to the Sound Scheme in Control panel > Sound > Sounds Tab. There is also a stand alone option named "Play Startup sound" (check/uncheck).

If using Ditto go to ...

Options

General

Advanced

Now scroll down to 'on copy play the sound' Select then browse for the sound you want (.wav) Then OK.

Should work , mine does.
