I've just been given a new phone. Don't ask me what make or anything. It doesn't have a sim card yet. After playing with it ,it suddenly said Apps Full ( remove some) but it also shows that the amount of available space is 253 GB. What can I do I was thinking of just throwing the phone away as i didn't cost me anything.

    OK More info. It's a Galaxy  Note 30 and obviously a cheap Knock of which is why it ended up with me. I just want to know if it can be OK so I can give it to my stepson.

    Try a factory reset in Settings, it will probably just be a problem being a fake so you'll end up giving it away

    I'd toss it in the bin.  Quite possible that even with a factory reset, it'll steal and send your data off to remote servers somewhere.

     

    Consider a fake phone given to you for free as secure as a random USB memory stick you find laying in the street.  Don't plug it in (don't use it)!

    1000 baht on Lazada ????  Did you really think it would be genuine? Maybe Android 4.4 and 8GB of storage if you are lucky.

    Get your stepson something that he can actually use. Expect to pay at least 3k for something usable.
