That is what happened when I tried to register for Thai pass, and the old Expensive COVID test, a higher insurance rate, and a one night stay at a "Screw you" Quarantine hotel.  Any idea about the software bug?

The new rule will become a law when its published in the Royal Gazette. Wait for publication.

The new rules do not go into effect until May 1st.

When will you be returning to Thailand. You could do the application on the 1st if entering after that day.

for May entry you can register only from 29.4.

So you have at least 48h to be approved.

They would speed up issuing TP, as no need to check for hotel booking (some hotels were slow in replying to TP queries).

Don't rush for entry at the very beginning of May, probably there would be many applying at the same time, clogging the system

 

What they say and what they do!

Wait for few days till they sort it out. They arent known to the world for fast and efficient action.

Amazing good news anyway this end of the Test and Lotery !

Was not expecting this before months, or at best weeks.

 

Now just hope the Land of Smile will get rid quick of the mask (Land of Mask not being too appealing for tourism either), the business restrictions, the color zones... But hope has return ! ????

guess there is going to be a bit of a bottleneck maybe from May 1st onwards with Thailand Pass...sounds optimistic or pessimistic though depending on which way you look at it - haha !
