Mrs Charlie made a comment when first visit in the UK "the Moon looks the same as ours" !

In the UK the moon shape is different than Thailand. Here in Europe, moon is more "erected" in Asia, more sleepy.

The answer to this question is that:

aa.  Our Moon reflects light.

bb.  Our Moon also emits radiation, of its own.

I am sure that everybody here understands Black Body Radiation.  Correct?

And so, even if our Moon was by itself, far, far out in space...

Still, we would be able to calculate the amount of radiation (even light) that our Moon would radiate.

You know, sometimes I wonder why I reply to some of these questions....

Giving a new meaning to the word "moonshine," NASA scientists at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California, have concluded that Jupiter's moon Europa glows in the dark due to being constantly bombarded with high-energy radiation.

If the OP is on Facebook, IMO it's a clear case of a self-inflicted wound.

I was on a flat earth Facebook page having a good tongue-in-cheek discussion about the moon landing hoax when someone decided to get on there and give us all a good biblical ear bashing about God's creation.

We could put up with the comment, but the nastiness was over the top.

"If you read the Bible you would....bla bla bla. I won't bother explaining it to you because you're obviously too stupid to understand"

Jesus...????

Anyway, apparently it was correct.

Many Christians get very upset when I prove many of their holiest days originated with pagan festivals, just as Muslims get upset when I point out Mohammed was a pedophile.

I'd probably have religious extremists ( now there's a tautology ) trying to hunt me down if I was on Facebook or Twitter, so I don't bother.
