Thai Mother accused of murdering seven-year-old son in UK appears in court
A THAI woman accused of murdering her seven-year-old son in the UK has appeared at Swansea Crown Court this week, where the case was described as “extremely complicated” by her defence team. Papaipit Linse, 42, is charged with the murder of her son, Louis Linse, who was found dead at a house in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, on January 10. The defendant, who remains in custody, appeared in court on Monday but was not asked to enter a plea. John Hipkin KC, representing Linse, requested that she not be arraigned due to the case’s psychiatric complexities, highlighting the need for additional time to complete necessary reports. In response, Judge Paul Thomas KC adjourned the case to a further hearing on October 25th. No trial date has been set at this stage. The prosecution is led by Caroline Rees KC, while the defence is handled by John Hipkin KC. During the brief court appearance, no new details of the case were revealed. How many here on the Farang Pub hope to die in Thailand?
Dear Folks, If you are like me, then you will have probably given this question much thought in recent years. Where do you hope to die? For me, it's a no-brainer....Thailand is where I hope to die. I am not saying that I often think of dying. I am only saying that I love Thailand so much that I hope to die here. Also, I am not so young that I want to travel around the world, just looking for some other place to die. Thailand, after over a decade of non-stop life here, without leaving, is still the place to die....for me. There are very few better places to die. And, dying here has the potential to provide reincarnation, as well. Here in Thailand, we can enjoy a much more laid-back dying experience. Death, here in Thailand, is far less to be feared, unlike some places, where they try to keep you alive....until... The very bitter end, which is always a bitter experience, or so I have been told. I think that guys like me are lucky to be in Thailand, waiting to die here, when the time is ripe. I will not be sorry to never return to my home country, or to.... The Main Line...... Death on the Main Line would be far less cheerful, IMHO. Here in Thailand, I find the prospect of dying far less distasteful..... What about you? Are you, as I, equally hopeful of dying in Thailand? No. I am not saying that this must happen tomorrow. And, I expect to die here in Thailand.....maybe..... In the year 2062.... A year, I predict, will be 1.5 degrees C...hotter than now. Any good thoughts about dying? Best regards, Gamma -

Getting a credit card
All my credit cards are not secured. MTL is not connected to kasikorn bank. https://www.muangthai.co.th/en/about-mtl In a few years time I will receive all my investment. I can close the MTL account if I like. Just be careful on how you reply, you are being reckless, not giving the correct information. If you are eligible, you will receive an unsecured credit card -

90 day online ... last 90 day, there was a glitch a week later approval
The rather ditzy women at Immigration do not seem to know anything about a "grace period". They demanded an extra 2000 baht when the online submission ran me two days late because it was rejected, Later, I learn that they are having "problems" with the online submissions. There seems to be almost no way to win. That said, my agent's son told me he could do the 90 day reports for me. He can speak to them in Thai and get results. If I understood him correctly, he will do this for no charge. He and his Mom already handle my Extensions of Stay. The Mom is my landlady. Apparently SOME good news. I'm tired of being ripped off by Immigration. -

Confused again? Seems like it, but maybe you could point the forum in the direction of this "elongated post" just to show us your post is accurate? Thought not. 🙄 -

Trump appeal against ridiculous fine looks like a winner
I agree, they will probably roll it back to the initial fine, but I think they should make a provision that the next time he denounces her again $5 million gets added at each update. Each of these appeals costs him plenty even without the fine. Maybe during breaks in the court proceeding he can hawk watches in Foley Square (the location of the courthouse) to try to raise cash for the attorneys. Or if a Black person comes along he can try to sell them the sneakers. -

TRUMP WATCHES
psssttt, wanna buy a watch? He's sunk to a NYC sidewalk hawker. For someone who doesn't need anybody else's money he sure is eager to take other people's money "Have you no shame, sir?" Actually, I think those NFTs of him are even lower. Maybe his next step downward will be be an adult web site featuring his current wife in various phases of undress and, umm, frolicking. Maybe that book of her that recently came out is just the start.
