BANGKOK, May 27 (TNA) – The Ministry of Public Health has emphasized that easing rules on cannabis use is aimed at promoting health and economy and parties will launch efforts to campaign against its abuse.

Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul signed a memorandum of understanding with representatives of MCOT and other organizations that agreed to publicize the proper use of cannabis. The other parties are the Medical Council of Thailand, the Thailand Nursing and Midwifery Council, the Pharmacy Council, the Thai Health Promotion Foundation, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Thai Traditional Medical Council.

Ya, selective listening leaves me a lot happier in life.

If only they could invent an algorithm that feeds us only the news we want to know ????

in Pattaya we can now buy real weed with 20% THC at some coffee shops, you like it or not, it's a fact.

Ah! Now we're talking but I think the brown envelopes must be rather fat. Unfortunately the straight plebs see this as a dangerous drug but accept alcohol and tabacco as ok. Can add coffee to that. Ask a Thai if coffee is a drug and they'll think your crazy.

Decriminalisation, properly handled can be a massive wealth and revenue  generator.  It also cuts down on inefficiency and corruption in the  Criminal  Justice  System. The war on drugs is a war on the people.

It will be interesting to see how things pan out in Germany now they are moderating the madness of the war on drugs.

Until it's legal you are a potential blackmail target.
